Overview
Coastland | DCCM has an immediate opening for an experienced Senior Water / Wastewater Project Manager / Designer (PE). This is a full-time hybrid role (remote and job site) with travel to serve our client. We are seeking multiple candidates to appropriately divide the territory and limit travel.
We are seeking a senior professional engineer with 10+ years of experience in the public market, with technical experience in water, wastewater, stormwater, and related experience in public works planning, design, and construction management.
Senior Water / Wastewater Project Manager / Designer (PE) Job Summary
The Senior Water / Wastewater Project Manager / Designer (PE) will work closely with other engineers, technical specialists, and clients to successfully deliver innovative solutions for our client s challenges. This is an exciting growth opportunity for a motivated person ready to take the next step in their career and contribute to our growing operations.
Responsibilities- Lead and manage water and wastewater design projects from planning through construction, ensuring quality, schedule, and budget adherence.
- Collaborate with engineers, technical specialists, and clients to deliver innovative solutions.
- Develop project fees and estimates; manage contract negotiations and execution.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders to achieve project objectives.
- Mentor junior staff and support business development efforts where applicable.
- 8+ years of project management, water/wastewater design, and attention to detail.
- 8+ years of experience with contract negotiation and execution.
- Comfortable developing project fees and estimates.
- Proven ability to manage aggressive project schedules and multiple priorities.
- Ability to work as part of a team or independently and to collaborate with experts across disciplines.
- 10+ years of experience and proficiency with software such as Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, Blue Beam, ArcGIS, AutoCAD, and other modeling tools.
- Bachelor s degree in Civil Engineering.
- Current Professional Engineer licensure in California.
- Bachelor s degree in Civil Engineering.
- 10+ years of relevant Civil Engineering professional experience.
- Current Professional Engineer licensure in California.
