Key Responsibilities:
Design and Analysis:
Develop detailed designs, consisting of drawings, specifications, and calculations for water and wastewater infrastructure projects. Manage technical tasks including planning, design, and construction support for civil infrastructure projects.
Project Management:
Support larger projects or lead smaller projects or components, coordinating with the Project Manager, team members, and sub-consultants. Ensure the timely completion of tasks and assist in managing project budgets, schedules, and deliverables.
Technical Support:
Provide expert support for multi-disciplinary teams in planning and executing infrastructure projects, including pipelines, tanks/reservoirs, pump stations, and treatment facilities. Understand and apply industry standards, client requirements, and regulatory guidelines.
Field Work:
Conduct site inspections and field measurements. Engage in field activities, ensuring accurate data collection and analysis.
Documentation and Coordination:
Prepare engineering documents and contract documents, including construction specifications and plans. Review shop drawings and submittals, respond to requests for information, and prepare site observation reports.
Communication and
Collaboration:
Assist in preparing client presentations and maintaining client communication. Ensure compatibility with design intent by coordinating with other disciplines.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in engineering or related scientific discipline required. Master's degree preferred.
5+ years of relevant experience in the planning, design, and analysis of water and wastewater infrastructure projects.
Broad understanding of municipal engineering, site development design, construction methods, and design and construction codes.
California Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred or ability to obtain California PE within 6 months of hire.
Valid driver's license and good driving record required.

Salary range for this position is anticipated to be $105,000 to $170,000, and may vary based upon education, experience, qualifications, licensure/certifications and geographic location.
