Overview
The High Frequency Technology Center (HFTC) in Santa Rosa is seeking an R&D Manager to lead the semiconductor fabrication Process Engineering team. This team develops, maintains, and optimizes processes to fabricate passive interposer substrates for Keysight’s Heterogeneous Integration technology.
ResponsibilitiesThe Engineering Manager will lead process development and process control to meet NPI and production metrics. Responsibilities include a combination of R&D and manufacturing in partnership with Design, Integration, Test, Operations, Maintenance, Product and Failure Analysis teams. The Process Engineering Manager will be accountable for yield, cycle time, throughput, quality, and execution of overall manufacturing and research goals. This role involves technical depth in semiconductor processing, managing and working alongside teams of scientist and engineers, and leading technical projects.

- Process and NPI development in both R&D and manufacturing

- Technical experience required in:
- Design for manufacturing
- Semiconductor fabrication processes: lithography, deposition, etch, CMP, plating, surface treatment, metrology, automatic inspection, etc.
- Clean room protocols
- Material, equipment, process, and supplier qualifications
- New equipment specification, selection, qualification, and release
- Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and shopfloor automation
- Heterogenous integration process requirements
- Electrical performance and reliability specifications
- BS, MS or PhD in Materials Science, Electrical Engineering, Chemistry, Physics, or related fields.
- 3+ years of relevant experience delivering results through work done by other people
