Join our Aerospace Defense Government Solutions team to promote and grow worldwide sales and solutions for Government customers as a solutions engineer. This position must understand customer needs, develop solutions, and grow customer engagement in a way that meets their needs while bringing Keysight great ROI. Areas of interest include digital twin simulation, channel propagation emulation, generating and receiving modulated waveforms, RF recording and playback, GNSS signal generation, spectrum monitoring and signal location, and 5G for Aerospace/Defense.

Solutions may consist of 5G test and measurement, ORAN, propagation, handheld analyzers, spectrum monitoring solutions, modular receivers/digitizers/signal generators, general benchtop instruments, and various software solutions. As an industry solutions team, we are not focused on one particular product line; instead we bring to customers the entire portfolio of Keysight, including the latest acquisitions. This position will be an all‑encompassing role consisting of application solution development, solution program management, application documentation and training, business development, and technical support.

This position requires a dynamic solutions engineer with a passion for matching customer needs with Keysight products. You will demonstrate and develop differentiation to make clear to customers why Keysight solutions are best in the market to solve their test needs. You will work hand in hand with the planning, R&D, and OF teams across Keysight, as well as third parties, to accomplish these solutions.

You will also help prioritize roadmaps to ensure continued profitable growth of this business. You will develop skills necessary to translate customer needs into specific HW & SW requirements for planning and R&D teams and communicate the business potential. You will perform competitive analysis.

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical or computer engineering with typically 8 years of application measurement experience
• Knowledge of various measurements for signal analysis and network analysis
• Results oriented, with track record of contributing to customer success
• Ability to do simple programming/test scripting
• Works effectively with R&D to design products to meet customer needs
• Competitive spirit and desire to win every deal; willingness to do face‑to‑face demos at customer sites; ability to manage programs within Keysight to bring new solutions and perform competitive analysis
• Outstanding teamwork skills to effectively execute on strategy
• Effective oral and written communications; ability to deliver effective training to internal field partners, solution partners or to enable customers to understand Keysight solution benefits; ability to develop presentations, write application notes, contribute to product literature, and develop/deliver webinars
• Ability to think creatively to bring solutions to life with great ROI
• Ability to effectively work in a global product development environment; R&D or solution partners may reside in the US, Europe or Asia

• Knowledge of 5G PHY layer, and/or upper layer protocols and/or 5G Core network
• Knowledge of some of Keysight 5G products
• Knowledge of spectrum monitoring and signal interference
• Knowledge of modular digitizers and vector signal generators
• Desire and ability to understand competitor products, architectures and solutions for handheld analyzers and signal monitoring equipment
• Knowledge of C/C++ and Python
