Position Summary

Looking For Technician in the Sonoma County / Greater Santa Rosa area.

Under the supervision of the Supervisor or Manager, be able to complete installation on all Light & Wonder Equipment and accessories. Perform basic troubleshooting techniques resolving problems in most Light & Wonder equipment in our facility, or at the customers location. Demonstrate basic administrative skills.

In this Customer facing role you will....

  • Perform Preventative maintenance on EGM's (Electronic Gaming Machines), ETG's (Electronic Table Games), and equipment, keeping in accordance with Gaming Commission and company standards and specifications.
  • Ensure proper operations of the EGM's, and ETG's via diagnostic tests, software settings, and functional testing.
  • Navigate Management Terminal (MT) daily to verify EGM's status.
  • Where applicable, assemble and prepare accessories for installations per change order.
  • Complete accurate Incident Reports in accordance with the Gaming Commission and company standards.
  • Complete required maintenance records in a clear and precise manner.
  • Complete detailed daily/weekly tech logs.
  • Adhere to L&W's Field Service established standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Follow L&W's safety procedures (vehicle safety, loading games, ladder use, and electricity).
  • Ensure all tools and equipment used are kept in proper, safe, and working condition.
  • Stay current with all Light & Wonder Field Advisories and eLearning.
Qualifications
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Must have and maintain a valid driver's license or state identification.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain gaming licenses as required.
  • Must be able to lift and carry 50 lbs. on a regular basis for short distances.
  • Transport heavy equipment using proper moving devices.
  • Demonstrate safe and proper use of hand tools and power tools.
  • Demonstrate basic knowledge of PC operation, and security risks relating to PC operation.
  • Demonstrate basic Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
  • Ability to read and understand Light & Wonder schematics and service manuals.
  • With limited or no supervision be able to prepare conversion projects or installations.
  • Ability to maintain good customer relations, both internally and externally.
  • Basic knowledge of electricity, electronics, and mechanics of gaming type devices.
  • Basic knowledge of current Light & Wonder gaming devices to the assembly level.
  • Basic understanding of network communication, and network troubleshooting.
  • Ability to perform basic troubleshooting techniques in isolating and correcting problems down to an assembly level.
  • Ability to work with others to accomplish business objectives.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills (written and oral).
  • Good customer service skills.
  • Good problem‑solving skills.
  • Travel requirements may include working at other facilities within our department.
Education

High school diploma or equivalent. College level electronics training helpful.

Required Experience

One year experience in the assembly, testing, and repair of electronic gaming devices, or six months experience and related gaming school certificate of completion, or equivalent.
