WHAT IS THE JOB? The Behavioral Support Staff works one‑on‑one with an adult who has an intellectual and/or developmental disability and who also needs experienced staff to support with consistent, high behavioral or medical challenges. Clients are supported in their own homes—no group homes or locked facilities.

The Behavioral Support Staff provides direction and hands‑on support with any and all needs our clients have, but is not a butler. The goal is for our clients to engage in all parts of their lives; the staff ensures that even if clients need help with eating, cleaning, bathing, or toileting, they still participate in those activities.

Behavioral Support Staff are hired with specific set schedules, making it easier to plan your life. We have a variety of full‑time schedules to provide 24/7 care.

The rate of pay ranges between $23 to $27 per hour, dependent upon verifiable, related experience with behavioral supports. Pay information is reviewed during the application and interview process by our Human Resources team.

Staff provide support in SANTA ROSA
, working in the home and community of the person employed by the agency.

• At least six months of verifiable experience working with people who have regular behavioral challenges. Experience beyond six months is reviewed in relation to wage offered.
• Valid California Driver License, current auto insurance, and clean & reliable vehicle.
• Energetic and patient staff who base success on the success of others; adaptability, creativity, and a positive attitude are musts.
