American Traveler is hiring an experienced Operating Room RN for a day shift position at a trauma-designated acute care hospital, requiring trauma, neuro, vascular, and ortho experience.

• Operating Room unit within an acute care hospital with 277 staffed beds
• Day shift schedule (3x12 hours, 7:00-19:00) with variable start times of 7:00 or 9:00
• May need to cover one night shift during the contract as needed
• Weekend work required
• On-call required, distributed equally among nursing staff every 6 weeks (up to 6-8 shifts in a 6 week period, including nights, evenings, and weekends)
• Float required between like units and between all facilities within the state
• Uses Epic charting system
• OR, Endo, L&D, and PACU scrubs provided

• Active CA RN license required
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Trauma, neuro, vascular, and ortho experience required due to trauma center status
• Epic EMR experience required
• Active professional license required at time of consideration

• Trauma-designated acute care hospital setting
• Free parking available on site
• Block scheduling may be accommodated at manager discretion
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Local candidates accepted
• Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and cannot be within 50 miles of the facility
• RTO should be submitted with minimal requests to support timely consideration
