American Traveler is hiring an experienced Operating Room RN for a 13-week assignment requiring trauma, neuro, vascular, and ortho experience.

• Work in the Operating Room of an acute care hospital with 277 staffed beds
• Day shift schedule, 3x12 hours, 7:00-19:00, with variable start times of 7:00 or 9:00
• May need to cover one night shift during the contract as needed
• Weekend shifts required
• On-call required, distributed equally among nursing staff every 6 weeks, up to 6-8 shifts in a 6 week period including nights, evenings, and weekends
• Floating required between like units and facilities within the state
• Uses Epic EMR
• OR, Endo, L&D, and PACU scrubs provided
• Free parking available

• Active CA RN license required
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Trauma, neuro, vascular, and ortho experience required due to trauma center status
• Epic EMR experience required
• Active, unencumbered professional license required at time of consideration
• Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last three years in a comparable specialty/setting

• Provide perioperative nursing care in a Level II trauma center setting
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Local candidates accepted
• RTO must be submitted for consideration, with minimal to no time off accommodated
• Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must not reside within 50 miles of the facility
• Candidates must disclose any prior work history at Providence facilities, including as a permanent employee, travel contractor, or registry/per-diem staff
