Commercial Lines Account Executive

Job Title and Overview

Foundation Risk Partners is adding a Commercial Lines Account Executive to the Small Business Unit at the George Petersen Insurance Agency in the Santa Rosa, CA Metro Region.

• Review existing commercial accounts for cross‑selling opportunities and mitigate E&O exposures.
• Daily servicing of assigned commercial accounts including phone, email, change requests, billing questions, premium collection, and policy renewal.
• Quote and bind new business from call‑ins or referrals; cold calling is not required.
• Setup new accounts in the agency management system at the start of the quoting process and complete account setup upon binding.
• Conduct client and prospect appointments both in‑house or off‑site.
• Assist other departments in cross‑selling, account rounding, and securing policy issuance for mutual clients.
• Adhere to agency procedures and processes.

• Analyze complex insurance situations, communicate options clearly in writing and verbally.
• Work independently with limited supervision and prioritize multiple tasks.
• Intermediate computer skills with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Strong verbal, written, negotiation, and customer‑first attitude.
• Attention to detail, multitasking, and effective teamwork.

• Minimum of 5 years related experience in the insurance industry.
• Knowledge of Applied Epic highly preferred.
• Property & Casualty license required.

Pay Transparency Range: $55,000 – $75,000 USD.
