Sales - Account Manager
MME group Inc. is looking for a Sales - Account Manager to drive business growth and maintain strong client relationships. The role focuses on identifying new business opportunities, developing strategic plans, expanding the customer base, and ensuring the highest level of satisfaction.
Key Accountabilities- Work with the VP Sales & Marketing and General Manager to develop strategies for increasing sales to existing customers, identify and prioritize potential new customers, and create relationship-building plans.
- Primary territory is Southern California.
- Meet regularly with plant personnel to update open order status and quotation activity; act as liaison between customers and manufacturing facilities.
- Contribute to winning proposals.
- Maintain current knowledge of the company’s manufacturing and administrative processes and assist in competitive pricing strategies.
- Work with VP Sales & Marketing on annual sales strategy and forecasting.
- Review quoting results, update quote log, and use lessons learned to improve pricing.
- Assist marketing in developing and improving company branding.
- Assess market trends and competitiveness, adjusting strategies and initiatives.
- Prospect for and develop new business relationships in targeted markets.
- Promote company services and address customer objectives.
- Partner with customers to understand business needs and identify growth opportunities.
- Build and maintain long‑lasting customer relationships.
- Effectively communicate value proposition through proposals and presentations.
- Collaborate with program managers and operations on customer requirements and expectations.
- Upsell and cross‑sell additional services or value.
- Track and follow up on internal request for quotes.
- Use CRM to record and plan customer activity.
- Suggest actions to improve sales performance.
- Attend industry functions such as conferences, trade shows, and expositions.
- Collaborate with team members, managers, and cross‑functional departments.
- Set quarterly and annual goals and objectives.

- Bachelor’s degree in engineering preferred; degree in business, marketing, or related fields considered with strong industry experience.
- Minimum of five years’ experience in technical sales or related field in Medical, Aero/Def, or similar industries.
- Experience in plastics preferred; animation or contract manufacturing services experience a plus.
- Team player with ability to collaborate and interact with a variety of personalities.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Excellent customer relationship management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues at all levels.
- Understands and supports company growth strategies and goals.
- Maintains confidentiality and exercises sound business judgment.
- Must drive/fly for overnight travel as required and hold a valid driver’s license.
- Travel +/- 50% expected.
- $120,000–$140,000 base compensation + commission.
- Year 1: base + commission would total $150,000 to $160,000.
- 3 weeks PTO + 40hrs sick.
