If you believe sports change lives, love working with kids, and having lots of fun: JOIN OUR TEAM! TGA runs the leading school-based youth sports enrichment programs for grades K-6. We are looking for enthusiastic and responsible sports coaches to impact the lives of the children we serve and introduce golf in a fun and playful way.
As a coach, you will work with small groups of children across various ages, developing their skills, physical literacy, and teamwork abilities. At YAU, we believe in using positive reinforcement and a low child-to-coach ratio to help each child feel confident, regardless of their age or skill level. With over 20 years of experience, we have a best-in-class curriculum that is specific and progressive to every child's developmental needs.
This role is instrumental in developing children's gross motor skills and socialization abilities, making a positive impact on their lives.
This job is suitable for part-time workers, retirees, high school and college students, stay-at-home parents, nannies, teachers, and anyone with a flexible schedule who loves sports and working with young children. Ideal candidates will have experience in Tennis, Golf and/or Pickleball. Schedules typically fall between Monday-Friday: 1:30pm - 4:30pm (varies by school).
Responsibilities- Work with small groups of children across various ages to develop skills, physical literacy, and teamwork.
- Use positive reinforcement and maintain a low child-to-coach ratio.
- Contribute to a best-in-class, progressive curriculum aligned with children's developmental needs.
- Develop children's gross motor and socialization skills; make a positive impact on their lives.
- Maintain equipment and kit bags; update class rosters and complete student progress reports.
- Communicate effectively with children and parents; be punctual and reliable.
- Work independently and as part of a team; bring a positive, engaging personality to classes.
- Strong sports background with general sports knowledge
- Reliable transportation as all programs are run at local schools and parks
- Ability to communicate effectively and build strong relationships with children and parents
- Punctuality (classes are held after school in the afternoons and children are counting on you)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to bring personality to make classes fun
- Maintain equipment and kit bags

- Flexible Schedule
- Part Time Hours between 2:00pm - 4:30pm / Monday - Friday
- Wages $40+ (depending on experience and performance) / Class
