Your ResponsibilitiesAs an Automotive Technician, you will:
- Utilize your expertise to diagnose and repair vehicles for our valued guests.
- Gain hands-on experience with a diverse range of domestic and foreign vehicles.
- Conduct thorough and honest courtesy vehicle inspections.
- Collaborate with your team to address guest concerns swiftly and effectively.
- Uphold our high standards of safety, cleanliness, and organization.
- Communicate effectively with the service department regarding any concerns.
- Work alongside fellow technicians to solve problems and meet deadlines.
To thrive in this role, you should have:
- A positive attitude and a genuine desire to serve our guests.
- 5+ years of experience as an automotive technician/mechanic.
- The ability to consistently flag 50+ hours.
- ASE Certifications (preferred) or a plan to achieve them.
- Skills to diagnose and repair all makes and models of vehicles.
- A commitment to meet or exceed hourly goals.
- A willingness to learn new skills and processes.
- A professional appearance and strong communication skills.
- A desire for long-term career development.
This role requires:
- The ability to occasionally lift and/or move over 100 pounds.
- Comfort working with tools on vehicles lifted above your head.
- Capability to work in tight spaces as needed for repairs.
- Dexterity to efficiently use hand tools.
- The ability to walk/stand for most of the workday.
- Experience driving manual transmission vehicles.
- Proficiency in navigating a computer.
