Travel LPN - LPN

American Traveler is seeking an experienced LPN with home health and OASIS skills for day shift home care visits in Sarasota and Charlotte counties.

Job Details

• Work in a skilled home health setting providing Medicare and commercial insurance visits,

• Serves adult patients with general and high-risk medical diagnoses including HF, COPD, MI, pneumonia, and stroke,

• Responsibilities involve home health skilled visits ranging from 6 to 8 per day,

• Day shift hours vary, with possible schedules including Mon-Fri (8a-5p or 9a-6p), Thurs-Mon, or Fri-Tues, with alternating weekends,

• Self-scheduling based on Home Care office needs,

• Uses Bay Care Forms, Bay Care Scheduling, and Ace Timesheet documentation systems,

• Laptop, MiFi internet access, and portable printers are provided,

Job Requirements

• Active LPN license required if applicable,

• Minimum 1 year of recent skilled home care experience required, not including private duty,

• OASIS documentation experience and training required,

• IV therapy and advanced wound care skills required,

• Current BCLS certification required,

• Valid driver's license and car required for home visits,

• COVID vaccination or approved exemption form on file required,

• Seasonal flu vaccination or declination with mask required,

Additional Information

• Perform cardiopulmonary assessments, wound care, compression dressings, wound vac dressing, and pleurx/Asept drain care,

• Handle foley catheter changes, staple/suture removals, glucometer usage, pro-time machine usage, SQ/IM injections, and lab draws,

• Manage IV skills, PICC/Midline care and dressing changes, and SQ port access/deaccess,

• Dress code is any solid color scrub,

• Self-managed schedule to meet patient and office needs,
