QA Molding Inspector

PURPOSE

Position responsible for participating in the plant’s quality assurance program. Assures that manufacturing projects and processes meet quality control standards.

• Reads and comprehends instructions and follows established procedures.
• Selects components according to specifications and required schedule.
• Checks output to ensure highest quality.
• Maintains equipment in good condition.
• Keeps records of production quantities and time – records all information on tracking sheets and in database.
• Reports on issues, malfunctions, or defective parts.
• Other duties as required.

• Ability to use tools and machines pertinent to position.
• Good understanding of quality control principles.
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Excellent hand-eye coordination and physical condition.
• Dependable.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, managers and clients.
• Assist with the coordination of the overall quality specifications and standards for processes and finished products.
• Other duties as required.
• Inspection of molded blanks.

• High school diploma or educational equivalent.

• Extensive use of fingers requiring great manual dexterity.
• Communication requiring accurate perception of speech.
• Regular sitting or standing for extended periods of time.
