Position status: Full Time
OverviewSarasota, FL — General Manager responsible for leading and managing a restaurant with a sales volume of $650,000 to $2.5M. Responsible for day-to-day leadership of people and financial management to achieve a return on investment, and for maintaining restaurant standards including food quality, friendly service, cleanliness, and safety for employees and guests.
Responsibilities- Staff the restaurant with qualified employees; recruit, select, onboard, train, coach, and develop team members and management to meet brand standards; develop schedules and conduct regular staff meetings; ensure adherence to company policies and applicable laws; communicate employee issues to leadership.
- Provide Radical Hospitality for guests; maintain standards of excellence in food quality, service, cleanliness, and safety; ensure recipes, procedures, and policies are followed; drive guest satisfaction and local store marketing programs; investigate and resolve guest complaints and feedback; ensure equipment is operating efficiently and facility is maintained to standards.
- Manage Local Store Marketing efforts in collaboration with the marketing team; build relationships with the community; lead and manage catering sales for the store.
- Meet or exceed Food Cost and Labor Cost standards; forecast sales and adjust as needed; maximize profitability through proper cost controls; ensure adherence to operational systems and procedures; ensure product availability; perform daily, weekly, and periodic financial reporting; analyze P&L and implement action plans in coordination with leadership.
- Maintain restaurant facility and equipment in working order.
- Demonstrate company values and represent Moe’s and Quality Fresca, LLC professionally in all duties.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Education:
High school diploma or equivalent required;
Associate degree in business or related field preferred or equivalent experience in restaurant operations;
Serv Safe certification required. - Professional
Experience:
At least 2 years of restaurant management experience required.
