Field Sales and Marketing Representative – Sarasota, FL

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Exceed sales targets by delivering best‑in‑class business‑to‑consumer sales and customer service at The Home Depot, engaging directly with customers to understand their needs and recommend tailored TTI product solutions.
  • Plan and execute promotional events, product demos, and store walks to drive consumer engagement and increase product sell‑through.
  • Support and implement strategic corporate brand marketing initiatives and promotional activities to increase brand awareness and drive sell‑through.
  • Ensure brand presence and sales‑readiness through strategic merchandising, optimal product placement, and completion of store objectives and resets—leveraging data analytics through Microsoft Power BI to drive decisions.
  • Develop a strong understanding of the retail marketplace, including customer profiles, product applications, competitive landscape, and channel dynamics.
  • Participate in TTI’s world‑class training program to be equipped with the knowledge to work independently within your assigned market.
  • Build and manage relationships with The Home Depot team members to enhance in‑store execution and cultivate long‑term business partnerships.
  • Effectively manage inventory levels through down‑stocking, maintaining product accessibility, and ensuring prompt reporting of all tasks and responsibilities.
  • Participate in merchandising resets to support TTI’s relentless innovation, ensuring timely placement of cutting‑edge products and solutions that drive growth.

  • Must be at least 21 years of age or older.
  • Eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship or restrictions.
  • Ability to pass drug screening and motor‑vehicle report screening.
  • Must have a valid United States driver’s license for at least one continuous full year in one state.
  • Must have a personal vehicle or reliable form of transportation and maintain valid personal vehicle insurance listing you as the primary driver.
  • Position requires travel to and from assigned store locations as well as occasional travel for meetings, projects, and events (air travel required).
  • Employees will also be required to transport a small amount of company property (devices, demo tools, tool kit, safety supplies).
  • Capable of reaching, lifting overhead, ascending or descending ladders to move product.
  • Capable of lifting and transporting heavy tools (up to 50 lb) and requesting assistance as needed.
  • Ability to work nights and weekends—weekends required at different points of the year.
  • Ability to work in a retail environment full time and stand for the duration of the shift, except for meal and rest breaks.
  • Self‑motivated team player with strong organizational, planning, and time‑management skills. MS Office proficiency required.
  • Multilingual abilities preferred for specific markets.
  • Formal higher education preferred but not required—equivalent experience considered.
  • Relocation may be required for future promotional opportunities.
Compensation and Benefits
  • Salary:
    Non‑exempt position (overtime eligible).
  • Pay range: $24.04 – $25.96 per hour, equating to a target annual salary of $50,000 – $54,000.
  • Sales contests and incentives to earn additional income.
  • Vehicle allowance: $400 per month pre‑taxed (equating to $4,800 per year).

  • 401(k) with company match of 50 % up to 8 % of employee’s salary.
