Primary Responsibilities:

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair commercial cooking equipment, refrigeration, or HVAC.
• Communicate repair status updates with customers and branch office.
• Order parts as needed and communicate with the branch.
• Complete service calls accurately and promptly.
• Audit truck stock to ensure necessary parts are available.
• Maintain service vehicle, tools, and uniforms according to standards and safety guidelines.
• Meet on-call requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record.
• Completion of a background check and drug screening.
• At least 1 year of experience in commercial cooking equipment, refrigeration, or HVAC.

Skills, Abilities, and Other Requirements:

• Ability to work independently.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and installation issues; automotive skills are a plus.
• Journeyman license or CFESA certification are a plus but not required.
• Attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good driving record.

Environmental Conditions:

• Lift up to 50 pounds regularly; up to 100 pounds frequently; more with assistance.
• Frequent bending, twisting, kneeling, and ladder climbing.
• Travel to various work sites daily.
• Exposure to heat, grease, and high-temperature environments.
• On-call weekend rotations vary by branch.
