Job Summary

Responsibilities
  • Perform Service Calls
    • Respond promptly to service requests from residential customers.
    • Diagnose plumbing issues such as leaks, clogs, and malfunctioning fixtures.
    • Repair or replace plumbing systems and components including pipes, fixtures, faucets, toilets, water heaters, and water softeners.
  • Routine Maintenance
    • Conduct preventive maintenance on plumbing systems to ensure efficient operation and prevent future issues.
    • Inspect and test plumbing systems for leaks, corrosion, and other damage.
    • Perform drain cleaning and sewer line inspections.
  • Troubleshooting and Problem Solving
    • Utilize diagnostic tools and techniques to identify the root cause of plumbing problems.
    • Develop effective solutions and implement repairs in a timely manner.
  • Customer Interaction
    • Communicate effectively with customers regarding the status of their plumbing systems.
    • Provide recommendations for repair or replacement options and explain technical information in an understandable manner.
  • Documentation and Reporting
    • Maintain accurate records of service visits, including work performed, parts used, and time spent.
    • Complete service reports and paperwork in a timely and thorough manner.
  • Safety and Compliance
    • Adhere to safety standards and procedures, including handling of hazardous materials and compliance with plumbing codes and regulations.
    • Ensure proper disposal of materials and waste according to environmental guidelines.
  • Continuous Learning
    • Stay updated on industry advancements, new technologies, and manufacturer specifications through training and professional development opportunities.
Qualifications
  • Valid Florida driver’s license with a clean driving record for the past 3 years.
  • Punctual, reliable, and self‑motivated with the ability to work independently.
  • Strong communication skills and proficiency with computers and technology.
  • Ability to troubleshoot simple to complex plumbing issues effectively.
  • New construction experience is helpful but not required.
  • Experience with gas and tankless water heaters is a plus.
  • Must pass a pre‑employment drug screen and background check.
