Low Voltage AV Audio Visual Technician Installer Rapidly

Overview

Elo Designs of Sarasota is seeking a skilled AV Technician who can confidently handle high-end AV installations and service calls. This role involves working with sophisticated systems like Lutron and Control 4. You will work with a team in the field, maintain high standards, and ensure that all work is done with precision and professionalism. Training and education is a priority for the company.

• Perform AV installations including pulling wire, terminating cables, installing speakers, and mounting shades, along with troubleshooting and quality control
• Ensure all installations meet the highest standards, with a focus on clean, meticulous work
• Mentor 2nd seaters and junior technicians, setting an example of professional conduct and craftsmanship
• Travel to various job sites as required
• Communicate with project manager

• Effectively communicate with colleagues and other trades on job sites
• Ability to work and think independently to meet project deadlines
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and stay composed in high-pressure situations
• Willingness to learn and improve on your skills
• Ability to use hand tools

• 2+ years experience as an AV Technician is required
• Minimum of High School Diploma or equivalent
• Formal education in electronics or related field is a plus, but not required
• Valid Driver's License and a clean motor vehicle record
• Control 4 and Lutron is preferred

• Physical requirements include standing, sitting, walking, bending, climbing, reaching, and lifting up to 50lbs
