DescriptionKey Responsibilities:
- Install, troubleshoot, and repair automotive lifts and garage equipment for both residential and commercial customers.
- Perform preventative maintenance to maximize equipment performance and lifespan.
- Clearly communicate technical issues and solutions to customers while delivering best-in-class service.
- Accurately record service work, repairs, and maintenance activities.
- Assist in inventory management and ensure all tools and equipment are properly maintained.
- Respond promptly and professionally to emergency service requests.
- Continuously sharpen technical skills through structured training and real-world experience.
- Successfully complete Automotive Lift Service’s world‑class technician training program and engage in ongoing education initiatives.
- Perform other duties as needed to support team success.
Qualifications:
- Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent and a demonstrated aptitude for mechanical work. Trade school diploma and/or experience in facilities maintenance, HVAC, plumbing, and/or electrical work, preferred.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record, required.
- Must be 21 years of age or older and able to pass a DOT physical within thirty (30) days of hire.
- Willingness to travel extensively, including overnight and week‑long trips, up to 100% of the time.
- Ownership of basic tools.
- Commitment to earning certification as a Certified Lift Inspector through the Automotive Lift Institute.
- Ability to lift up to 100 pounds and work safely at heights up to 25 feet.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to customers.
- Attention to detail and a strong commitment to safety practices.
