General Notes This position is open exclusively to The University of Texas at Austin Work Study students.
Purpose To assist the UT Accounting and Financial Management Office front desk team, including Accounting, Payroll, and Student Accounts Receivable offices.
Responsibilities- Answer incoming phone calls and emails and interact with visitors and staff .
- Hand out checks for pick up and complete pick-up log.
- Log and file returned checks and contact customers with information regarding the check.
- Send out requested tax documents to vendors.
- Assist with filing needs and other paper-related administrative tasks.
- Act as backup to Accounting and Payroll Services team during lunch or other absences.
- Other duties as assigned.
