Saturdays and Sundays, 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Pay: $50.00 per hour.

Are you passionate about making a meaningful impact in the lives of teenage girls facing complex emotional and behavioral challenges? If you have a background in psychology, behavioral science, social work, or a related field, New Haven Residential Treatment Center invites you to lead with purpose as a Clinical Therapist in our Stabilization & Assessment program. This role offers the opportunity to make a lasting impact within a mission‑driven, family‑centered care team, supporting adolescent girls ages 12–17 in a nurturing, home‑like environment.
Responsibilities- Conduct individual therapeutic sessions with students to address and explore their unique needs, challenges, and emotional well‑being.
- Facilitate family therapy sessions involving students and their parents to foster open communication, resolve family dynamics, and promote healing.
- Lead specialized group therapy sessions, fostering a supportive and collaborative environment among students, encouraging personal growth and interpersonal skills.
- Participate in weekly interdisciplinary treatment planning meetings with a multidisciplinary team to develop comprehensive and individualized treatment plans for students.
- Engage in regular clinical meetings and supervision sessions, contributing to ongoing professional development, sharing insights, and receiving guidance.
- Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of therapeutic sessions and student progress, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
- Actively participate in family weekends, offering therapeutic support to families, and contributing to the overall healing process.
- Organize and lead two‑day camping trips twice a year, providing opportunities for experiential learning, building relationships within families, and creating memorable therapeutic experiences.
- Master’s degree in a behavioral science field such as Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Clinical Mental Health Counseling.
- Fully licensed (LCSW, LMFT, LCMHC) preferred; associate licensure (CSW, AMFT, ACMHC) also accepted.
- Committed to client growth through collaborative, team‑based care.
- Preferred two years of therapy experience, including individual, family, and group sessions.
- One year of experience in a residential setting using relational and experiential modalities is a plus.
- Skilled in treatment planning and adjustment; must pass a state background check.
- Must have or be willing to create a CAQH profile and obtain an NPI number.
