Ready to make connectivity from space universally accessible, secure and actionable? Then you’ve come to the right place!
E-Space is bridging Earth and space to enable hyper-scaled deployments of Internet of Things (IoT) solutions and services. We are building a highly-advanced low Earth orbit (LEO) space system that will fundamentally change the design, economics, manufacturing and service delivery associated with traditional satellite and terrestrial IoT systems.
We’re intentional, we’re unapologetically curious and we’re 100% committed to innovate space-based communications and deliver actionable intelligence that will expand global economies, protect space and our planet and enhance our overall quality of life.
Join us to design and deploy next-generation, satellite-based radar that delivers persistent, all-weather, day-night sensing at global scale. You’ll build end-to-end capabilities—from waveform design, on-board processing, classification and calibration, for systems on LEO platforms. Working across RF hardware, phased arrays, and advanced DSP, you’ll turn raw echoes into decision-ready products. If you thrive at the intersection of electromagnetics, signal processing, and systems engineering—and want your code and designs to fly—this role is for you.
What you’ll be doing :- Develop algorithms for channel processing, beamforming, detection, estimation, calibration, interference mitigation, and related radar functions.
- Create performance models, simulations, reference implementations, and test vectors.
- Allocate processing functions across GPU, FPGA, embedded, and software resources.
- Characterize latency, throughput, numerical precision, resource use, and failure behavior.
- Support prototype demonstrations, requirements verification, software development, and I&T.
- Bachelor's or advanced degree in electrical engineering, applied mathematics, physics, or a related field.
- Five or more years of radar, sonar, communications, or high-rate signal-processing experience.
- Strong DSP fundamentals and proficiency in MATLAB, Python, C/C++, CUDA, or comparable tools.
- Experience translating algorithms into real-time implementations and objective tests.
- Security clearance: U.S. citizenship is required. Candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance at the Secret level or higher, and any program-specific access required for the position. Continued employment is contingent upon obtaining and maintaining the required clearance and access.
- GPU-accelerated radar processing and sub-second end-to-end latency experience.
- UHF phased-array calibration or digital beamforming experience.
- Experience developing independent golden-reference models and test vectors.
This is a fast-paced, high-impact environment - flexibility to work extended hours or weekends during critical periods is expected.
This is a full time, exempt position, based out of our Saratoga office. The target base pay for this position is $120,000 - $200,000 annually. The total compensation packaged will be determined by various factors such as your relevant job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
We are redefining how satellites are designed, manufactured and used—so we’re looking for candidates with passion, deep knowledge and direct experience on LEO satellite component development, design and in-orbit activities. If that’s your experience – then we’ll be immediately wow-ed.
This role requires access to controlled technical data. Under U.S. law (ITAR/EAR), we can only consider U.S. persons (U.S. citizens, lawful permanent residents, and individuals granted asylum or refugee status).
