Our clientis a rapidly growing company in Sarnia, ON and currently seeks a Sales & Marketing Coordinator to join their sales team. The ideal incumbent will be under the supervision of the Canadian Sales Manager and responsible for coordinating the day-to-day operations of all assigned projects utilizing best practices to assist the sales team and deliver projects on time, on budget, and in scope while ensuring a high-quality service and mitigating risk.

While this is our ideal list of experience, we will consider candidates with only some qualifications but sufficient experience, talent, drive, and initiative to learn.

Job Type: Full time

Schedule:

M-F 8:30am – 5pm

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Follow up with leads and maintain a database of customer interactions and sales activities.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to achieve sales targets and objectives.
  • Support the development and implementation of sales and marketing strategies.
  • Assist with the preparation of sales and marketing presentations and reports.
  • Serves as the point of contact for sales representatives who are in the field meeting clients and making sales.
  • Thoroughly review documents to coordinate quotes that will be sent to clients according to estimators and suppliers.
  • Assisting the Sales manager with lead generations.
  • Import and exporting specialties are considered an asset.
Marketing Activities
  • Develop and implement marketing campaigns to promote the company's products.
  • Create and manage content for marketing materials, such as brochures, website content, social media posts, and email newsletters.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences.
  • Assist in organizing and attending trade shows, conferences, and other industry events.
  • Monitor and analyze marketing campaign effectiveness and provide improvement recommendations.
  • Promote services and products on the company’s social media and professional network page.
  • Proven experience with excellent writing and editing skills.
Requirements & Qualifications
  • Degree or diploma in a related field of business or equivalent experience.
  • An elevated level of proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite is essential.
  • Graphic design and knowledge of Adobe Suite is considered an asset.
  • Strong organizational abilities and high attention to detail.
  • Ability to work under pressure and on tight deadlines.
  • Able to succeed in a fast-paced environment.
  • Understanding social networks such as Linked In, Facebook, Instagram, etc.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize workload when handling various responsibilities at once.
  • A high degree of discretion in dealing with sensitive and confidential situations and material.
