Experienced Safety Advisor

Contribute to safety excellence at a major construction project in Sarnia, Ontario, as a Safety Advisor III with Brunel. Collaborate closely with teams to ensure compliance with safety protocols.

Brunel is seeking a knowledgeable Safety Advisor III for a contract role from August 2026 to December 2028. You will provide essential health and safety support, monitor construction activities, and uphold safety standards. This position requires a strong field presence and regular communication with project leadership and contractors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support project leadership with day-to-day safety guidance

• Conduct inspections, observations, and audits regularly

• Ensure compliance with regulatory safety requirements

• Assist with hazard identification and risk assessments

• Participate in incident investigations and corrective actions

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of industrial safety experience

• Strong background in large-scale construction projects

• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field preferred
