Bluewater Health is accepting applications for a
full-time Respirologist
to join the Medicine Department in
Sarnia, Ontario
. This opportunity supports a broad scope of respiratory medicine practice within a well-resourced regional hospital, offering strong interdisciplinary support and access to advanced diagnostic and clinical services.

Respirologists at Bluewater Health practise within a collaborative Medicine program supported by modern diagnostic capabilities and specialty services.

Services available to support a Respirologist include:

• Bronchoscopy suite and pulmonary function testing
• Transesophageal echocardiography and Rapid Chest Pain Assessment Clinic
• District Stroke Centre
• Local oncology and palliative care services
• Medicine Telemetry Unit

Remuneration is fee for service.

The ideal candidate will meet the following qualifications:

• Fellowship in Respirology with the Royal College of Physicians of Canada
• Eligibility for an independent licence with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO)
• Canadian permanent residency or Canadian citizenship
• Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills with a dedication to service excellence
• Active interest in the training of residents and medical students

Sarnia and Petrolia

  14-bed Critical Care Unit

• Full spectrum of specialist support available 24/7 (neurosurgery and interventional cardiology not available)
