Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEP)

• Modify lesson content to accommodate different learning styles

• Build rapport with students to foster trust and engagement

• Assess student progress regularly and make needed adjustments

Requirements:

• Valid Alaska teaching certificate in special education

• Experience supporting students with various disabilities

• Knowledge of educational best practices and methods

• Strong communication skills with families and staff

• Ability to manage and foster a positive classroom culture
