Position: General Studies Teacher at N.L.S.S.

Elevate student learning at N.L.S.S. as a Permanent General Studies Teacher for Math, Science, and Geography starting September 2026. Ideal candidates will hold an Ontario Certificate and preferred experience.

This opening is specifically for permanent teachers within L.K.D.S.B. Surplus teachers are encouraged to apply, while those on the O.T. Roster are not eligible. Experience and qualifications in Special Education, French, and various educational roles will be considered valuable assets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging lessons in Math, Science, and Geography

• Foster a positive learning environment for all students

• Collaborate effectively with staff and parents

• Implement consistent classroom management strategies

• Participate in committee work related to student success

Requirements:

• Ontario College of Teachers Certificate in relevant subjects

• Preferred experience in the stated assignment

• Special Education qualifications as needed

• Strong communication skills with diverse populations

• Computer literacy and electronic report card experience
