ResponsibilitiesReporting to the Principal of the assigned school, the Long‑Term Occasional Teacher is responsible for providing continuous, high‑quality education during the temporary absence of the regular teacher. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting student achievement and well‑being in accordance with Ontario Ministry of Education standards and Board Policies.
- Deliver curriculum in civics/careers for 1 section.
- Maintain classroom management and learning environment.
- Use instructional strategies aligned with standards.
- Assess student progress and provide feedback.
- Collaborate with school staff and parents.
- Adhere to school policies and procedures.
