This role involves assisting students with diverse needs under the direction of the principal and classroom teachers. As a Casual Educational Assistant, you will implement teacher-designed programs and attend to students' physical care, communication, and personal development. Effective collaboration with the school team is vital for fostering an inclusive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support students with various physical and developmental needs
• Supervise and implement daily routines effectively
• Execute instruction programs designed by teachers
• Attend to personal care including toileting and hygiene
• Communicate professionally with teachers and students
Requirements:
• 2-year college program in Childhood Education or related field
• 1 year of relevant work experience preferred
• Experience with Autism is advantageous
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to assist with personal care and mobility
