Join Agilus by Synergie as a Safety Advisor III in the oil and gas industry in Sarnia, Ontario. Support site leadership and contractor teams to advance safety and health standards.
As a key member of the team, you will leverage over five years of safety experience in construction to develop safety instructions, manage incidents, and ensure compliance with safety regulations. Your ability to educate and promote safety initiatives will be essential in fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
• Create and formalize safety instructions and standards
• Respond to incidents and provide technical assistance
• Ensure compliance in project designs and operations
• Develop and promote safety training programs
• Prepare articles and presentations on safety issues
Requirements:
• 5+ years of industrial safety experience
• Bachelor's degree in OHS or similar field
• Experience in multicultural safety environments
• Strong computer proficiency in Microsoft applications
• Must be fit for duty in varied physical conditions
