V. Oversee load testing operations ensuring compliance while working with cutting-edge equipment.
As a Load Test Engineer, you will report to the Operations Manager or Technical Director, performing critical load testing in oil and gas facilities. Your expertise will include conducting static and dynamic tests, preparing risk assessments, and interpreting engineering documents. The role demands compliance with Canadian safety regulations and a focus on operational integrity.
Key Responsibilities:
• Execute static and dynamic load tests on equipment
• Prepare method statements and risk assessments
• Interpret engineering drawings and load calculations
• Maintain compliance with Canadian safety standards
• Generate detailed reports and certification documentation
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
• 3–5 years in load testing or heavy industrial operations
• Preferred lifting inspection or load testing certification
• Knowledge of Canadian OH&S standards
• Strong documentation and reporting skills
