Lead process design initiatives with NSB Omega for a major Oil & Gas client in Sarnia, ON. Drive project success through effective oversight of engineering deliverables and team leadership.
As a Process Engineer, you will guide junior engineers and lead the development of essential process design specifications. Key tasks include conducting optimization studies, ensuring contractor compliance with project standards, and participating in safety reviews. Your expertise will drive the execution of front-end and detailed engineering phases for critical projects.
Key Responsibilities:
• Monitor junior engineers in developing process design specifications
• Perform process optimization studies for cost savings
• Oversee engineering contractor’s deliverables for consistency
• Participate in Hazard & Operability Reviews for plant facilities
• Provide support during commissioning and start-up phases
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent
• Experience in petroleum refining or chemical process industries
• Familiarity with engineering contractor operations
• Ability to manage tight deadlines and heavy workloads
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
