Process Engineer II

Agilus by Synergie seeks a Process Engineer II for the Oil and Gas Sector in Sarnia, Ontario. This onsite role emphasizes leading design teams and optimizing process specifications.

In this position, you will have a 17-month contract, working a schedule of 5 days on and 2 days off. Your expertise will guide junior engineers in developing comprehensive design specifications, including process control and safety facilities. Additionally, you will conduct process optimization studies to identify cost savings and ensure compliance with company guidelines throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design team in process design specifications

• Monitor and guide junior engineers in their tasks

• Identify capital and operating cost savings through optimization

• Ensure contractor work aligns with project specifications

• Provide commissioning support for new or modified facilities

Requirements:

• 5–15 years of project engineering experience

• B.S. degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent

• Preferred experience in Oil and Gas

• Capital project development expertise

• Proficiency in English for technical communications
