Role
Reporting to the Manager of Design and Infrastructure, this position is responsible for implementing and leading special projects including bridges and culverts; CIP lining; flood mitigation;
Inflow & Infiltration programs; the Municipal Infrastructural Asset Management program for core assets; capital planning as well as Sewer Water Modelling.

Qualifications

Four-year degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering

Minimum of four (4) years of related work experience.

Candidate Profile

Thorough knowledge of the principles and practices of municipal engineering

Strong ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing

Excellent collaboration and interpersonal skills and the ability to develop effective working relationships with other departments to gather and share information

Experienced in contract administration of Municipal projects

Skilled in design, drawings and specifications along with AutoCAD, Civil 3D and GIS software

Strong research and analytical skills

Knowledge in hydraulic and hydrologic modelling
