Commercial Analyst – Hybrid Position

Mainstreet Credit Union is hiring a Commercial Analyst to enhance its lending services in Southwestern Ontario. This hybrid role focuses on financial analysis and credit management for commercial and agricultural portfolios.

As a Commercial Analyst on a one-year contract, you will work closely with various teams to assess credit risks and prepare comprehensive financial analyses. Preference will be given to candidates skilled in agricultural lending, ensuring we meet the unique needs of our members effectively. Your analytical capabilities will contribute significantly to our overall risk management strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop credit recommendations in collaboration with Relationship Managers

• Perform financial statement reviews and analyze cash flows

• Monitor credit relationships for performance and risk indicators

• Execute annual credit reviews within deadlines

• Ensure compliance and completeness of credit documentation

Requirements:

• Degree in Business, Finance, or related field

• 3-4 years in commercial/agricultural credit analysis

• Strong proficiency in financial analysis tools

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Detail-oriented with a commitment to accurate work
