If you were working with us as a Housekeeper , here are some of the things you would have done last week:
- Performed light cleaning duties in Residents’ households, including dusting furniture, mopping and vacuuming floors, cleaning wash basins, mirrors, showers, and tubs, and safely disposing of garbage from Residents’ rooms
- Cleaned public and high-traffic areas by mopping and vacuuming floors, dusting surfaces, washing windows, and emptying trash containers
- Completed cleaning of designated areas in line with established procedures, daily routines, and hygiene requirements for both morning and evening shifts
- Operated housekeeping equipment safely and effectively
- Provided efficient, courteous, and respectful service to Residents at all times
- Followed WHMIS legislation and safe handling procedures for all chemicals used within the department
- Worked cooperatively with other departments to support housekeeping operations
- Followed established routines and direction from the Resident Services Manager
- And supported your team as needed.

QualificationsTo be hired into this role, you must have:
- Ontario Secondary School Diploma or equivalent
- Experience in housekeeping (healthcare or hospitality setting an asset)
- Preferred experience in Seniors Living / Retirement
- Ability to operate commercial cleaning equipment (washer, dryer, auto-scrubber, vacuum, etc.)
- Vulnerable Sector Screening (VSS) check completed within the past 6 months
