Ontario Speech-Language Pathologist Position

Join an educational team as a Speech-Language Pathologist focused on supporting diverse communication strategies for students. This permanent position thrives in a Multi-Tiered System of Supports environment.

You will partner with school staff to address a range of communication disorders, delivering screenings, assessments, and direct intervention services. Your focus will be on building the capacities of educators while ensuring each child receives tailored support. Collaborating with the clinical team, you will manage caseloads and provide guidance for effective outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer speech and language assessments for students

• Work directly with educators to improve student support

• Develop and implement individualized consultative programming

• Guide and support Communicative Disorders Assistants

• Stay updated on evidence-based intervention strategies

Requirements:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required

• Certification with the College of Audiologists and Speech Language Pathologists of Ontario

• Familiarity with evidence-based assessment practices

• Knowledge or experience with AAC is beneficial

• Strong organizational and communication skills required
