Position: Intervenor Role with Sensity
Join Sensity in Sarnia as a part time Intervenor, supporting people who are deafblind in their daily lives. Become a vital link in communication and independence for your clients.

In this contract role, you will provide crucial assistance to individuals with dual sensory impairments, working part time on a flexible evening and weekend schedule. Your support will involve aiding in personal hygiene, meal prep, and fostering a sense of community engagement, all aimed at enhancing the quality of life for those you assist.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support daily living activities in various environments

• Use communication methods to assist client interactions

• Facilitate personal care and home management

• Aid in developing client goals and program strategies

• Document client interactions and support efforts clearly

Requirements:

• Diploma in Intervenor or relevant human services program

• Experience with challenging behaviors and disabilities

• Communication skills in ASL or SEE preferred

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required

• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting
