Position: Sensity Intervenor Contract Role
Become an essential Part Time Intervenor with Sensity in Sarnia, Ontario. Support deafblind individuals in communication and empower their daily living capabilities.

Sensity is looking for a passionate Intervenor to work with the deafblind community through part-time contract roles. This position involves providing crucial support for 20-24 hours weekly, including evenings and weekends. Your efforts will help those with sensory impairments achieve greater independence and enjoy meaningful experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support individuals in their daily lives and routines

• Use communication techniques to facilitate interaction

• Assist with personal care and hygiene needs

• Aid in setting and achieving individual goals

• Maintain clear documentation of service provided

Requirements:

• Completion of diploma in related human services program

• Experience working with developmental disabilities

• Familiarity with American Sign Language or Signed Exact English

• Valid Class G driver’s license

• Regular lifting of 35 lbs to 50 lbs required
