We're looking for a self-directed and professional Occupational Therapist to join our team. In this full-time contract role, you will engage directly with patients referred by physicians and lead group sessions like our Boosting Balance program. Your skills in assessments, intervention, and assistive device prescription are essential for improving clients' quality of life and supporting their functional needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments for falls prevention and cognitive impairment

• Facilitate group sessions, especially for balance improvement

• Prescribe assistive devices and ensure home safety

• Collaborate across departments to meet patient needs

• Navigate healthcare systems for patient support

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy

• Registered with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario

• Experience in primary health care setting preferred

• Skills in intervention, assessment, and program design

• Proficiency with Electronic Medical Records (eMR)
