Become a Maintenance Worker with S&R Group to assist in providing a safe, clean home for residents. This role focuses on diverse maintenance responsibilities and crucial emergency response.
As part of the S&R Group team, you will perform essential maintenance tasks including plumbing, heating, and electrical repairs. By logging your work and addressing safety issues proactively, you'll ensure residents enjoy a comfortable living environment every day. Flexibility is key as you'll support emergency calls when needed.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct general maintenance including electrical and plumbing tasks
• Log all maintenance activities accurately
• Move resident furniture safely and efficiently
• Support preventative maintenance using computerized tracking
• Address safety and maintenance concerns proactively
Requirements:
• Ontario Secondary School Diploma or equivalent
• Understanding of building codes in long-term care
• Must be available for emergency call-ins
• Recent Vulnerable Sector Screening completed
• Updated TB 2 Step test within the last year
