Material Handling Technician

Become a Material Handling Technician in the Sarnia Area, ON, focused on supporting safe and continuous operations. Join an industrial facility to manage packaging, warehouse, and rail yard activities effectively.

This position reports to the Finishing Area Supervisor and emphasizes teamwork and communication. Your responsibilities will encompass operating forklifts, maintaining inventory accuracy, and supporting production activities. Engaging in daily shift meetings, you'll ensure smooth material handling operations while adhering to safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare packaging and build boxes efficiently

• Unload transport trailers and operate forklifts

• Conduct SAP inventory transactions regularly

• Manage rail car operations and maintenance

• Participate actively in daily shift meetings

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required

• Experience with forklifts is an asset

• Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office applications

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• A commitment to safety and environmental principles
