Experienced Slitter Operator in Manufacturing

Location: Petrolia

Become a key part of our production team as a Slitter Operator. This unionized role involves cutting, packaging, and labeling rolled roofing products in a proactive and safety-focused environment.

In this full-time position, you’ll work independently or alongside another operator to ensure high-quality product output. Responsibilities include operating machinery, supporting maintenance to troubleshoot issues, and performing safety checks. You're expected to maintain accuracy and efficiency while operating in a dynamic setting with various distractions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate slitting and packaging cell effectively

• Assist maintenance in troubleshooting and optimization

• Conduct safety equipment checks regularly

• Validate product packaging and counts

• Perform additional tasks as directed by Team Leader

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• 2-3 years of manufacturing experience

• Knowledge of WHMIS safety standards

• Ability to work rotating shifts

• Effective communication skills
