Utility Operator

Position: Utility Operator ON

CEDA is looking for two Utility Operators to join our Sarnia team. This role is crucial for operating high-volume storage tanks and vacuum trucks, ensuring safety and meticulous attention to detail.

Applicants will be enrolled in the International Union of Operating Engineers after 1040 hours, paving the way for career advancement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain high-volume tanks and pumps

• Work safely at heights up to 100 meters

• Climb into small vessels for industrial cleaning

• Ensure safety standards for team and equipment

• Complete necessary paperwork and inspection reports

Requirements:

• Valid Class G driver’s license

• 1+ years in an industrial setting preferable

• Flexible availability for Ontario travel

• Submit to pre-employment drug and alcohol testing

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
