Wound, Ostomy & Continence – RN – Sarnia & London, ON – Full‑time, Monday to Friday, $48.50‑$56.50 per hour.

Carecor is seeking passionate and caring Registered Nurses specializing in Wound, Ostomy & Continence (NSWOC) to join our exceptional team. Our nurses deliver high‑quality care, treating each client with dignity, respect, and compassion.
Area of Work
Clients in the City of Sarnia, Lambton County, and surrounding areas. Virtual visits may be expected as appropriate.
Availability
Standard hours Monday‑Friday 8:00 AM‑5:00 PM. Occasional work outside these hours may be required at the supervisor’s request.

Key Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive wound, ostomy, and continence assessments and develop individualized care plans for clients in the community.
Deliver advanced wound care treatments, including debridement, according to clinical best practices and organizational protocols.
Educate clients, families, and caregivers on wound care management, prevention strategies, and proper use of supplies.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate client care and ensure continuity across care settings.
Monitor client progress, document clinical findings, and update care plans as needed.
Participate in the development, implementation, and evaluation of wound care programs and best‑practice initiatives.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation following professional and regulatory standards.
Travel to client homes or facilities using a reliable vehicle, ensuring safe and timely delivery.
Adhere to all safety, infection control, and regulatory requirements, including maintaining current certifications.
Job Qualifications
Registered Nurse (RN) with current provincial registration; graduate of an accredited Nursing program.
NSWOC certification or IIWCC or WOCC credential;
Enterostomal Therapist certification is an asset.
Debridement certification and advanced wound care expertise.
Minimum 2 years’ experience in wound care program development (hospital or community).
CPR certification.
Clear criminal background check with vulnerable sector screening and negative TB test.
Valid driver’s license, insurance, and reliable vehicle.
