Become a vital part of our Seniors Living villages as a Registered Practical Nurse. Your expertise in resident care and teamwork will brighten the lives of those we serve.
In this role, you will lead the PSW team to ensure high-quality care for residents. Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, including Nurse Practitioners and Physiotherapists, you will assess residents and manage care plans. Daily tasks will include taking glucose readings, distributing medication, and speaking with families about their loved ones’ care.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead PSW team to provide resident care
• Assess new residents with a multidisciplinary approach
• Take glucose readings and assist during meal times
• Distribute medication and monitor vital signs
• Communicate care plans to residents and families
Requirements:
• Registration with College of Nurses of Ontario
• Vulnerable Sector Screening check within 6 months
