Food Basics is in search of an Assistant Store Manager who will partner with the Store Manager to oversee functionality and profit of the store. Responsibilities include developing staff, driving merchandising initiatives, and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards. You'll play a crucial role in fostering a welcoming shopping atmosphere and nurturing community ties.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support sales and operational efficiency goals
• Oversee merchandising and store presentation
• Ensure compliance with health regulations
• Hire and train staff to prioritize customer service

Requirements:
• College or University education preferred
• 3 to 5 years’ progressive experience in retail management
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office
