Become a Keyholder at Pet Valu in Forest, Ontario, starting at $18.30 per hour. Ensure excellence in pet care while supporting local animal welfare initiatives.
In this retail role, the Keyholder assists in daily store operations at Pet Valu, which includes overseeing cashier duties and maintaining store efficiency. You'll engage with customers, make product recommendations, and coach team members when required. This role prioritizes safety, expertise, and community involvement through various animal welfare programs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Handle cashier sales and customer transactions
• Prepare merchandise orders and manage paperwork
• Stock small pet supplies and household items
• Maintain cleanliness through sweeping and dusting
• Unload deliveries of pet food and stock shelves
Requirements:
• Minimum 2 years in retail or customer service
• Familiarity with POS systems
• Friendly personality with strong service skills
• Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs
• Reliable transportation to the store
