In this role, you will:
Support the delivery of program or service activities by assisting with clearly defined tasks and assignments.
Participate in selected program, service, or operational activities to gain exposure to planning, coordination, or service delivery processes.
Collect, organize, and input information or data following established procedures and privacy requirements.
Respond to routine inquiries or requests by providing basic information or referring questions to appropriate team members.
Collaborate with team members on assigned tasks and contribute to team initiatives through participation in meetings or working sessions.
Assist with coordination activities for meetings, events, or program activities (e.g., logistics support, preparation, follow‑up).
Learn and follow established processes, tools, and systems, and share observations or suggestions with supervisors when invited.
What we are looking for:
1–2 years of post‑secondary education, currently a full‑time student and registered to return to school in September 2025.
Excellent time management and interpersonal skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
High degree of workplace adaptability, strong collaboration and team‑player ability, and ability to work independently.
Satisfactory Canadian criminal record check and reference checks.
Working conditions:
Duties conducted in a shared office setting in a comfortable and friendly environment, located in Sarnia, Ontario.
Hours:
35 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
Flexible work period required. Some evening and weekend work may be required.
Domestic travel within the Sarnia‑Lambton required.
Applicants whose first language is not English may be required to perform the responsibilities of the role in English.
Eligibility to work in Canada is required. If not a citizen or permanent resident, review visa requirements. Refer to FAQ for more information.
Selected candidates must complete a successful pre‑employment screening process including a satisfactory Enhanced Police Information Check (E‑PIC).
